By participating in the One New Zealand Rewards Movie promotion, you accept these terms and conditions and the One New Zealand Privacy Policy. Purchase of One New Zealand Rewards movie vouchers is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions, including the terms and conditions specific to the cinema (see further below).

Pricing, terms and conditions and the list of participating cinemas may vary from time to time. You are bound by the conditions applicable on the day of purchase. 

One New Zealand or its agent Rapport Group Limited reserve the right to cancel this One New Zealand Rewards benefit at any time, modify the pricing, modify the terms and conditions and to disqualify any individual who is deemed to be abusing the One New Zealand Rewards Movie promotion.

All prices listed on this site are in New Zealand Dollars.

Reading Cinema voucher Terms and Conditions: 

1. These voucher terms and conditions relate to vouchers for use at the following Reading Cinemas:

• LynnMall, Auckland
• Napier, Hawkes Bay
• Porirua, Wellington-Wairarapa
• Rotorua, Bay of Plenty
• Dunedin, Otago
• Invercargill, Southland
• The Palms, Canterbury

2. These vouchers cannot be used at any other One New Zealand Rewards participating cinema.

3. Vouchers will be sent from service@discover.one.nz to the nominated email address and can also be found by clicking on the gift box icon when logged in to the One New Zealand Rewards website.

4. Vouchers are not valid online. Each voucher must be redeemed at the box office where it will be exchanged for one standard movie session ticket.

• To redeem in cinema please either show the voucher on your mobile device or take a printed copy of the voucher. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure the voucher details, including the barcode is legible.
• Vouchers cannot be redeemed on the relevant cinema’s website.

5. The purchase of a One New Zealand movie voucher does not guarantee availability of a ticket to a specific movie or session. One New Zealand movie voucher holders will receive no preference over the cinemas’ other customers in purchasing tickets. A refund will not be given if your desired session is not available.

6. There is one (1) type of One New Zealand voucher that is available for purchase.

• One New Zealand Adult Anytime Vouchers can be used at any time
• Each Voucher is redeemable for one (1) general admission ticket for one (1) adult (as purchased) and:
• can be used for any standard 2D session at the nominated cinema, is valid until the expiry date and cannot be exchanged, extended or replaced; and can only be used once.

7. One New Zealand vouchers cannot be:

• redeemed or upgraded for any session where the ticket price is higher than a standard admission ticket Voucher any special event screening, including but not limited to Movie Marathons, Charity Screenings or Special Previews;
• Voucher(s) are non-transferable and not valid for Reading Gold Lounge, Premium, Titan XC, Titan Luxe or 3D sessions.
• used to purchase 3D glasses. 3D glasses must be purchased separately at an additional cost;
• used in conjunction with any other offer;
• replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or damaged;
• used to purchase any pre-paid movie vouchers, gift cards or Candy Bar items;
• exchanged for cash (and change will not be given irrespective of cinema pricing); or
• sold to any other individual or company, or gifted for commercial gain, without the prior written consent of both One New Zealand Limited and the applicable cinema.

8. Individual cinemas have the right to refuse entry based on their own terms and conditions. Please see the applicable cinema’s website for more details.

Purchasing and refunds:

9. One New Zealand discounted movie vouchers can only be purchased at https://rewards.one.nz via the One New Zealand website, or via the My One NZ App. You cannot purchase One New Zealand vouchers prices directly through a participating cinema’s website, by phone or in the cinema.

10. During periods of high demand, stock may become unavailable, or availability may be limited. Eligible users are not entitled to any compensation for a lack of stock availability.

11. Up to ten (10) vouchers can be purchased in a single transaction.

12. Payments for vouchers can be made by debit or credit card only.  You must be properly authorised to use the debit or credit card that you use to purchase the vouchers or tickets.

13. Eligible users can purchase a maximum of forty (40) One New Zealand discounted tickets or vouchers in a calendar month. Purchases in excess of this limit are deemed to be an abuse of this One New Zealand benefit and One New Zealand is entitled to cancel any vouchers or tickets issued with no obligation to refund the purchaser.

14. Payment for all vouchers is taken by Rapport Group Limited on behalf of One New Zealand Rewards. Your purchase will appear on your statement as a debit for One NZ Movies Promo.

15. From time-to-time cinema ticket prices may be lower than the purchase price of the One New Zealand voucher. Eligible users are not entitled to any compensation, change or refund should a cinema ticket price be lower than the price paid on the One New Zealand Rewards website.  

16. Once purchased, vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. No change will be given. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the vouchers/tickets are used by their expiry date, no extension or refund will be given.

17. Prices vary between cinemas, so please check pricing prior to purchase. A payment processing fee of 2.9% is charged in addition to the voucher/ticket cost.

18. Vouchers bought through the One New Zealand Rewards website cannot be sold to any other individual or company, or gifted for commercial gain, without the prior written consent of both One New Zealand Group Limited and the applicable cinema.  A breach of this term is deemed to be an abuse of this One New Zealand benefit and One New Zealand is entitled to cancel any vouchers or tickets issued with no obligation to refund the purchaser or recipient of the vouchers/tickets.

19. To the extent permitted by law, all refunds will be at the sole discretion of One New Zealand.

Use of vouchers at participating cinemas 

20. Film classification rules apply to all movies. It is your responsibility to check the classification of each movie prior to purchase on the One New Zealand Rewards website. ID may be required. The cinema may refuse any ticket holders entry to restricted movies who do not meet the age criteria or who cannot provide proof of age, and they will not provide a refund.

21. Entry to participating cinemas is subject to the terms and conditions of the particular cinema. Any dispute to those terms and conditions need to be raised directly with the cinema.

22. To the extent permitted by law, neither the Promoter, Rapport nor its agents and distributors guarantee the quality and/or availability of the services offered by the venues nor can they be held liable for any resulting personal loss or damage.

23. Any disputes raised by customers pertaining to use of the tickets or vouchers are strictly between the customer and the participating cinema.
