All One New Zealand customers, who are citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand aged 18 or over, and who follow @onenz on TikTok are eligible to enter our Viva Wahs Vegas Competition (“Competition”). One New Zealand employees and anyone associated with this Competition in a professional capacity cannot enter this Competition.

The Promoter is One New Zealand Group Limited, 74 Taharoto Road, Takapuna, Auckland 0622, New Zealand (“Promoter”). The Competition is administered by One New Zealand Group Limited (Company No. 927212). All correspondence regarding the Competition should be directed via email community@theattentionseeker.com. 

Entry into this Competition is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Entry

Make a video telling us about you and your partner’s love story and why you think you deserve to fly to Las Vegas to get married or renew your vows and support the One NZ Warriors at their season 2025 opener against the Canberra Raiders.

You can enter the Competition by posting it to any social media channel, tagging One New Zealand and including the hashtag #VivaWahsVegas. Entries which include explicit or offensive language or imagery will be voided.

There is one entry, per platform, per couple. Your profile must be public for the duration of the Competition period so we can find your video.

No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete, or corrupted entries will be accepted.

The Competition will open at 9am on Thursday 28 November 2024. Competition entries will close at 11.59pm on Friday 27 December 2024.

Finalists and Winner

At the end of the Competition entry period, the four (4) videos with the most likes across all social media platforms will be our Competition finalists.

The four finalist couples must participate in the filming of a ‘How Well Do You Know Your Partner’ style Game Show (‘Game Show’) in Auckland on Tuesday 7 January 2025. If a couple lives outside of Auckland, travel to and from Auckland on the day will be provided to them – flights or fuel cost.

The Game Show will run elimination rounds – with couples answering 10 questions per round about their partner. One couple who gives the least correct answers to questions about their partner will be eliminated from each round, until we have one winning couple remaining in the final round.  

Finalists will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) on the day of the Game Show to ensure the winner is not shared prior to the winner announcement date. One New Zealand reserves the right to reconsider the winner if there is a leak. 

By attending the Game show filming date you grant One New Zealand a right to use, copy, reproduce, modify, publish, or otherwise distribute content created on the day, including any personal information (name, age, answers to the Mr and Mrs questions) that may be included in the content for any purpose, including in marketing and promotional materials, in any media as One New Zealand determines. Finalists will also need to sign a waiver of the day of the Game Show.

The licence you grant One New Zealand is perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and One New Zealand will not be required to obtain your permission for any such use or attribute any content to you.

The winner will be decided on Tuesday 7 January and will be publicly announced 2 weeks later, on Monday 20 January 2025. If the winner cannot accept the prize, One New Zealand will have sole and absolute discretion to award the prize to the finalist with the second highest number of correct answers given during the Game Show.

Prize

There is one winner for the Competition. The prize is:

• Two (2) Gold tickets to the Rugby League Las Vegas 2025 event at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, March 1, 2025 (local time). This event includes the following matches:
  • One NZ Warriors vs Canberra Raiders
  • Penrith Panthers vs. Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks
  • UK Rugby league: Wigan Warriors vs. Warrington Wolves
  • Women’s International Rugby League: Australian Jillaroos vs. England Lionesses
• Two (2) seats on the One NZ Warriors x Air New Zealand charter flight (economy, seat + bag) from Auckland International Airport to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas). The winner and their guest are responsible for getting to and from the departure airport.
• Return airport transfers from Las Vegas to the winner’s accommodation.
• Five (5) nights' accommodation at Park MGM, Las Vegas in a twin/double room.
• A Las Vegas quickie wedding package up to the value of NZD $5,000, including:
  • a marriage licence issued by Clark County, Nevada – Marriage Licence Bureau
  • official ceremony with celebrant at a Las Vegas chapel of your choice
  • photographs
  • dinner for up to ten (10) people at NoMad Las Vegas
  • live feed of the official ceremony to loved ones back in New Zealand
  • The wedding package will be planned and executed by One New Zealand.
• NZ$5,000 spending money.
• Entry for two (2) to One NZ Warriors fan function on Wednesday 25 February 2025.

Additional conditions for the prize

• The winner is entitled to take one guest. To be eligible to claim the prize, on the day the prize is awarded, the winner and their guest must be over the age of 18, have a valid passport to travel, and be able to travel on the same flights together.
• The winner and their guest will be required to provide copies of their passport to claim the prize within 7 days of announcing the winner. Winner information will be deleted 12 months from the date of the trip.
• The winning couple must be able to legally get married / renew their vows according to Nevada law.
• The winner and their guest must travel on the dates and flights specified. Requests to swap or change flights, accommodation, or any other element of the prize will not be accepted.
• The flight to Las Vegas will depart Auckland, New Zealand on Tuesday, 25 February 2024 (NZ time). The flight to Auckland, New Zealand will depart Las Vegas on Sunday, 2 March 2024 (Las Vegas time).
• The prize will be organised by representatives of One New Zealand and the winner will be kept up to date on the booking process of their prize. The winner will be sent an itinerary of their prize and any relevant documents via email, within 14 days of all the aspects of your prize being confirmed.
• The winner and their guest must be eligible for travel and meet any applicable Government and airline travel requirements, including holding appropriate valid passports, visas and documentation to travel to the United States of America to enter the Competition.
• If the prize winner cannot travel for any reason (including the inability to travel due to COVID-19), the prize will be forfeited.
• The winning couple are subject to the terms and conditions that are applicable to the airlines, venues or activities and any other party involved in the Competition.
• The winning couple must supply a valid New Zealand bank account for the prize money to be transferred into. The prize money will be the value as specified in the prize. The prize money is in NZD and includes GST. It will be transferred to the winner within 14 days of all the aspects of your prize being confirmed.
• Valid photo identification and a valid credit or debit card must be presented on arrival at the accommodation to cover the cost of any incidentals during the stay. Guests unable to provide a valid credit or debit card may be required to pay a cash bond.
• Airport transfers will be organised by representatives of One New Zealand and the winner will be kept up to date on the booking process of the prize. Transfers will be arranged for the prize recipient and their guest, and only to the locations specified in the prize. Requests to swap or change transfers, or any other element of the prize will not be accepted.

General terms and privacy notice

Your use of the prize is subject to any third party’s terms that may apply, including conditions of entry and restrictions on access to venues such as age limits or sign restrictions. You agree that One New Zealand and any third party are not responsible for any refused entry, cancellations or changes to any events; lost, stolen or damaged tickets or vouchers; incorrectly completed, lost, delayed or unprocessed online purchases; or the validity of any tickets or vouchers. Any guest that accompanies you to events will be deemed to have accepted these terms.

To fulfil a prize, details you provide to us when you accept the prize may be shared with the nominated One New Zealand agency to fulfil the prize.

The prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice throughout the Competition period. Any tickets or vouchers offered as part of the prize are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be transferred or sold without the prior written consent of One New Zealand or any relevant third party.

The prizes are as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. No other family members, friends, office associates or any other person will be able to accept the prize on the winner’s behalf. All expenses for items (including travel, accommodation, food and beverages, and any other costs) unless expressly stated will be at the cost of the winner.

By entering the Competition and uploading video content to Instagram, Facebook or TikTok, you acknowledge that the privacy policies of the respective social media platforms you use will apply and that One New Zealand has the right to use, upload and/or submit the content and you grant One New Zealand a right to use, copy, reproduce, modify, publish, or otherwise distribute that content, including any personal information that may be included in the content for any purpose, including in marketing and promotional materials, in any media as One New Zealand determines.

The licence you grant One New Zealand is perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and One New Zealand will not be required to obtain your permission for any such use or attribute any content to you. Any personal data from the winner and finalists will be retained for up to 12 months. All other entrant's data will be retained as per the One NZ Rewards Privacy Notice.

By entering the Competition, you agree to participate in any publicity related to the Competition, and consent that One New Zealand can use your likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording) in any media for up to one (1) year without payment, to promote One New Zealand and any of its other products and services. Finalists will be given a waiver to sign on Tuesday 7 January, which permits One New Zealand to use any content captured on the finalists on the shoot.

Any personal information will be used for the purpose of One New Zealand Customers entering One New Zealand’s Viva Wahs Vegas Competition. The personal information that may be required for One New Zealand’s agency to fulfil the prize(s) are: name, email address, phone number, address, travel and passport information. Any personal information collected is subject to the One New Zealand Privacy Policy.

One New Zealand reserves the right to extend, cancel or amend this Competition at any time.
