During the height of the Great Depression, battle-scarred veteran Samuel Murphy (Ethan Hawke) is torn from his daughter and sent to a brutal labour camp. The camp's unscrupulous overseer (Russell Crowe) tempts him with early release if he helps smuggle a fortune in gold across 100 miles of impenetrable wilderness. Desperate to save what is left of his family, Murphy accepts - but betrayal festers within the crew, making him question how far he will go to see his daughter again.

This film has not been rated yet. Winners must comply with all age-related admission requirements.
The prize draw will be conducted on Monday 14 September 2026 by representatives of One New Zealand by random electronic draw.
The winners will be contacted on Monday 14 September 2026 using the details provided as part of your My One NZ registration. If the winners cannot be reached within 48 hours, One New Zealand will have sole and absolute discretion to draw the prize again and award the prize to a new winner.
The prize is not redeemable for cash, cannot be substituted with an alternative prize or sold. The prize must be used while the movie is still showing in cinemas, it will not be replaced if it is not used in time.
The prize will be organised by representatives of One New Zealand and will be couriered to your chosen New Zealand address as soon as it becomes available.
