Four-time Academy Award®-nominee Ethan Hawke returns to the most sinister role of his career as the Grabber seeks vengeance on Finn (Mason Thames) from beyond the grave by menacing Finn’s younger sister, Gwen (Madeleine McGraw).
As Finn, now 17, struggles with life after his captivity, the headstrong 15-year-old Gwen begins receiving calls in her dreams from the black phone and seeing disturbing visions of three boys being stalked at a winter camp.
Determined to solve the mystery and end the torment for both her and her brother, Gwen persuades Finn to visit the camp during a winter storm. There, she uncovers a shattering intersection between the Grabber and her own family’s history. Together, she and Finn must confront a killer who has grown more powerful in death and more significant to them than either could imagine.

There are five (5) winners for the competition. Each prize includes:
One (1) double pass to see Black Phone 2 valid at any participating cinema showing this film.
The film is not yet classified. Winners must check the final rating and meet all age restrictions for admission.
The prize draw will be conducted on Monday 13 October 2025 by representatives of One New Zealand by random electronic draw.
The winners will be contacted on Monday 13 October 2025 using the details provided as part of your My One NZ registration. If the winners cannot be reached within 48 hours, One New Zealand will have sole and absolute discretion to draw the prize again and award the prize to a new winner.
The prize is not redeemable for cash, cannot be substituted with an alternative prize or sold. The prize must be used while the movie is still showing in cinemas, it will not be replaced if it is not used in time.
The prize will be organised by representatives of One New Zealand and will be emailed to the winners using the email provided as part of your My One NZ registration as soon as it becomes available.
Entry into the Competition is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
