Dubbed “the greatest that never was,” Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) was FORMULA 1’s most promising phenom until an accident on the track nearly ended his career. Thirty years later former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), owner of a struggling FORMULA 1 team on the verge of collapse, convinces Sonny to come back to FORMULA 1 for one last shot at saving the team and being the best in the world.
He’ll drive alongside Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), a hotshot rookie intent on setting his own pace. But as the engines roar, Sonny’s past catches up with him and he finds that in FORMULA 1, your teammate is your fiercest competition—and the road to redemption is not something you can travel alone.
F1® THE MOVIE also stars Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem, and has been shot during actual Grand Prix weekends. The film is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Kosinski, seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton, Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, and Chad Oman.

All One New Zealand customers are eligible to enter the promotion which runs from Monday 9 June 2025 at 12:00am to Sunday 22 June 2025 at 11:59pm.

There are five (5) winners for the competition. Each prize includes:
One (1) double pass to see F1® THE MOVIE valid at any participating cinema showing this film.
The prize draw will be conducted on Monday 23 June 2025 by representatives of One New Zealand by random electronic draw.
The winners will be contacted on Monday 23 June 2025 using the details provided as part of your My One NZ registration. If the winners cannot be reached within 48 hours, One New Zealand will have sole and absolute discretion to draw the prize again and award the prize to a new winner.
The prize is not redeemable for cash, cannot be substituted with an alternative prize or sold. The prize must be used while the movie is still showing in cinemas, it will not be replaced if it is not used in time.
The prize will be organised by representatives of One New Zealand and will be emailed to the winners using the email provided as part of your My One NZ registration as soon as it becomes available.
Entry into the Competition is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
