Inside of his book, adventurous Harold (Zachary Levi) can make anything come to life simply by drawing it. After he grows up and draws himself off the book’s pages and into the physical world, Harold finds he has a lot to learn about real life—and that his trusty purple crayon may set off more hilarious hijinks than he thought possible. When the power of unlimited imagination falls into the wrong hands, it will take all of Harold and his friends’ creativity to save both the real world and his own. Harold and the Purple Crayon is the first film adaptation of the beloved children’s classic that has captivated young readers for decades.
Directed by Carlos Saldanha and produced by John Davis, the live-action hybrid family adventure/comedy stars Zachary Levi, Lil Rel Howery, Benjamin Bottani, Jemaine Clement, Tanya Reynolds with Alfred Molina and Zooey Deschanel. The film’s screenplay is written by David Guion & Michael Handelman, based on the book by Crockett Johnson.

There are ten (10) winners for the competition. Each prize includes:
One (1) double movie pass to see Harold and the Purple Crayon valid at any participating cinema showing this film.

The prize draw will be conducted on Wednesday 25 September 2024 by representatives of One New Zealand by random electronic draw.
The winners will be contacted on Wednesday 25 September 2024 using the details provided as part of your My One NZ registration. If the winners cannot be reached within 48 hours, One New Zealand will have sole and absolute discretion to draw the prize again and award the prize to a new winner.
The prize is not redeemable for cash, cannot be substituted with an alternative prize or sold. The prize must be used while the movie is still showing in cinemas, it will not be replaced if it is not used in time.
The prize pack will be organised by representatives of One New Zealand and will be couriered to your chosen New Zealand address and the double pass will be emailed to the winners using the email provided as part of your My One NZ registration as soon as it becomes available.
