Terms and Conditions

  • All One New Zealand customers aged 15 years and over are eligible to enter to the promotion which runs from Monday 1 July at 12:00am to Wednesday 31 July 2024 at 11:59pm.
  • To enter, click ‘Enter now.’
  • Entry into the Competition is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  • The prize draw will be conducted on Thursday 1 August 2024 by representatives of the promoter by random electronic draw.
  • The winner will be contacted on Thursday 1 August 2024 using the details provided as part of their My One NZ registration. If the winner cannot be reached within 48 hours, One New Zealand will have sole and absolute discretion to draw the prize again and award the prize to a new winner.
  • There is one (1) winner for the competition. The prize includes: 
    • Return flights (economy, seat + bag) for four (4) from the major New Zealand airport closest to the winner’s address to Cairns Airport (including a domestic flight(s) if required). The winner and their guests are responsible for getting to their departure airport.  
    • Accommodation for 5 nights (3 nights in Cairns, 2 nights in Port Douglas) with two shared rooms
    • Bookme activities for four (4) people. The winner can choose to do four activities:  
      • Great Barrier Reef Day Trip with Dreamtime Snorkel and Dive 
      • Cape Tribulation and Daintree Rainforest Tour with Cairns Adventure Group 
      • Skypark Cairns Bungy & Swing combo 
      • Cairns Jet Boat Tour with Bad Fishy 
    • Bookme $1,000 AUD voucher, to be used on Australian Bookme Adventures within 12 months of the prize being awarded.
    • Return transfers to Cairns Airport from the winner’s accommodation.
    • Return transfers between Cairns and Port Douglas accommodation.
    • $3,000 NZD spending money.
    • $500 NZD towards the cost of travel insurance for the group travelling (this is to be arranged by the prize winner). This money can only be used for the purposes of purchasing travel insurance for the prize. 
  • In order to be eligible to claim the prize, if the winner is under the age of 18, they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 during the fulfilment of the prize.
  • Travel is subject to availability of flights, accommodation and activities, and will need to be completed between 1 September 2024 and 31 March 2025. Exclusion dates are the Australian school holidays: 14 September to 6 October 2024 and 14 December 2024 to 27 January 2025.
  • The prize is as stated, and no alternatives will be offered. The prize cannot be substituted, is not transferable and cannot be sold or taken as cash.  
  • In the event an activity is unable to go ahead for any reason; it may be cancelled, rescheduled or substituted for a similar experience by the tour operator. No monetary refund will be due to the winner.
  • The prize trip needs to be booked at least four weeks in advance of travel and the winner must confirm their travel dates by 2 September 2024. This includes flights, accommodation and the activities. All elements of this prize must be redeemed during the chosen travel dates. No changes are permitted once the booking is confirmed. Any extension to the duration of trip is at the winner’s own cost. Requests to swap or change flights, accommodation, or any other element of the prize will not be accepted.
  • The prize winner and any guests must each have a valid passport to travel. The winner’s guests must travel on the same flights as the winner.  
  • The winner and their guests will be required to provide copies of their passport to claim the prize. These details will be shared with the agencies of One New Zealand in order to fulfil the prize.
  • The prize will be organised by representatives of One New Zealand and the winner will be kept up to date on the booking process of the prize. The winner will be sent an itinerary of the prize and any relevant documents via email, within 14 days of all the aspects of the prize being confirmed.  
  • The winner and their guests must be eligible for travel and meet any applicable Government and airline travel requirements, hold appropriate valid passports, visas and documentation to travel to Australia to enter the draw. If the prize winner cannot travel for any reason (including the inability to travel due to COVID-19), the prize will be forfeited.
  • The winner and their elected guests are subject to the terms and conditions that are applicable to the airlines, venues or activities and any other party involved in the promotion.
  • The winner must supply a valid New Zealand bank account for the prize money to be transferred into. The prize money will be the value as specified in the prize. The prize money is in NZD and includes GST. It will be transferred to the winner within 14 days of all the aspects of the prize being confirmed. 
  • Valid photo identification and a valid credit or debit card must be presented on arrival at the accommodation to cover the cost of any incidentals during the stay. Guests unable to provide a valid credit or debit card may be required to pay a cash bond.
  • The promoter One New Zealand, and the promotion partner Bookme, accept no responsibility if any part of the prize becomes unavailable due to extenuating circumstances, including COVID-19. Should any part of the prize become unavailable, a substitute will not be offered.
  • One New Zealand takes no responsibility for any loss or damage suffered by the winner or their guests during the fulfilment of the prize, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or personal injury suffered or sustained while using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
